PRIVACY POLICY
NANYUAN TECHNOLOGY INC PRIVACY POLICY
Effective: February 26, 2025
What This Policy Covers
This Privacy Policy explains how NANYUAN TECHNOLOGY INC ("happypuddle," "we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, and shares information about you when you use our Services. Our Services include our website at happypuddle.com, any apps we provide, our products and services, and our social media pages such as Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook.
This Policy also covers your legal rights and responsibilities regarding your Personal Information — information that identifies you or can be used to identify you, such as your name, contact details, or account information. We take your privacy seriously and are committed to protecting it.
Where This Policy Applies
This Policy is part of our Terms of Use. It applies to Personal Information we collect from or about you through the methods described below, no matter how you access our Services. It also applies to targeted content, offers, and ads you may see on third-party websites based on your online activity. Those third-party sites may have their own privacy policies, so please review them.
This Policy does not apply to information collected by third parties, such as our service providers (including Inc., which hosts our e-commerce site, and PayPal, which processes payments), or to social media pages. Those third parties have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for how they handle your information.
This Policy also does not apply to websites that link to our site or that you may access through our Services. We may link to other sites we think you'll find useful, but we haven't reviewed their security. Once you leave our site, the new site's privacy policy applies. We are not responsible for the content of any linked sites. If you have questions about those sites, please contact them directly.
Accepting This Policy
By using our Services, you accept this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services. If we post changes and you keep using our Services, that means you accept the changes.
Age Requirement
By using our Services, you confirm that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province, or that you are the age of majority and have given us consent to allow your minor dependents to use the Services.
Information We Collect
Information You Give Us: We collect information you provide directly to us — for example, when you use our website, shop in our stores, call us, create an account, sign up for emails, enter a sweepstakes or contest, take a survey, contact us through social media, request support, or apply for a job.
Providing your Personal Information is voluntary. But if you don't provide some or all of what we ask for, we may not be able to provide certain products, services, or information.
The information you may give us includes your name, shipping and billing address, zip or postal code, phone number, email address, birth date, payment information, product and communication preferences, family members, demographic information, or any other information that could be used to contact you.
Sometimes we also collect information you provide about others — for example, when you buy a gift card for someone, create a wishlist, or ship products to someone else. We use this information to fulfill your requests and will not send marketing messages to your contacts unless they opt in.
Information We Collect Automatically: To improve your online experience, we and our partners automatically collect certain information when you use our website, interact with our emails or ads, or do business with us. This includes:
- Log File Information: Browser type, access dates/times, pages viewed, your IP address, and the referring link. We use this to analyze trends, manage our site, and diagnose problems. We may share aggregated statistics, but never in a way that identifies you.
- Cookies: We use first- and third-party cookies, pixel tags, and similar technologies to collect information such as browser type, pages viewed, and links clicked. Cookies help us improve navigation, personalize your experience, understand how our site is used, market our products, measure campaign success, and keep our site secure.
Most browsers accept cookies by default. You can set your browser to refuse cookies or alert you when one is placed. However, some features — like our shopping cart — may not work properly without cookies. For more details, see our Cookie Policy.
Where we use Google Analytics, we anonymize your IP address as soon as data is received, before any storage or processing. To opt out of Google Analytics across all websites, visit https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
- Transaction Information: When you buy or return a product, we collect details such as product information and the date and location of the transaction.
- Mobile Information: When you access our site from a mobile device, we may receive information about your location and device, such as unique device identifiers.
- Information From Third Parties: We also receive information about you from sources like PayPal and Google, and through your social media interactions, and add it to your account information.
Information We Do Not Intend to Collect
When you create an account, you may provide your name, email, password, birthdate, and other details. happypuddle does not intend to collect or keep sensitive personal information, data about minority status, or third-party data not covered by this agreement. We do not knowingly contact or collect information from anyone under the age of majority. Our Services are not meant to solicit information from minors.
Text Message / SMS Consent and Opt-Out
We may send you text messages through an automated dialing system in a few situations.
(1) If you choose, you can give your mobile number to receive shipping alerts via our third-party shipper, DHL Express ("DHL"), using automated systems. By providing your number, you consent to receive automated texts from DHL. Message and data rates apply — check with your carrier. You can opt out by following the instructions sent to the SMS number DHL uses to contact you. See DHL's privacy policy for how they handle your information.
(2) If you sign up for our marketing texts, we may send periodic messages about products or offers we think you'll like. We only send texts if you consent first. Consent is voluntary and not required to make a purchase. To opt out, follow the instructions sent to the SMS number used to contact you. Message and data rates apply.
We may share your mobile number with service providers who help us with these activities, but we will not share it with third parties for their own purposes without your consent. You understand that texts are delivered through third-party mobile networks, so we cannot control delivery. We do not guarantee that texts will be delivered successfully or be available on all carriers. We are not liable for transmission delays or message failures.
How We Protect Your Information
Unfortunately, sending information over the internet or email is never completely secure. We do our best to protect your Personal Information, but we cannot guarantee the security of data you send to our site — you transmit at your own risk. Once we receive your information, we use commercially reasonable procedures and security features to prevent unauthorized access.
How We Use Your Information
We may use your Personal Information to provide products and services and support our business. For example, we may use it to:
- Provide, improve, and develop our website and Services

- Provide customer service
- Operate, protect, improve, and optimize our website and user experience
- Communicate with you about products, services, contests, updates, security alerts, and account notifications
- Communicate with others using contact information you provide, such as gift recipients
- Make your shopping experience easier, more personalized, and more enjoyable
- Address problems and improve our products, services, and technologies
- Let you use our in-store and online technologies
- Provide consistent, personalized services, including personalized advertising and offers
- Organize community events, promotions, and in-store experiences
- Help you share information to social media
- Administer contests and promotions
- Learn more about your shopping and product preferences
- Fulfill a contract we have with you
We also use your information to create a trusted and safer environment — preventing, detecting, and investigating fraud, security breaches, and illegal activity; conducting security investigations; verifying information; protecting our rights and those of our employees and customers; responding to legal requests; complying with our legal obligations; resolving disputes; and enforcing our Terms of Use.
We use your Personal Information for automated decision-making through a third-party service provider to protect against fraud during checkout. This helps us block transactions that appear fraudulent.
We also use your information to provide, personalize, measure, and improve our advertising and marketing — sending you promotional messages, personalizing ads, administering referral programs and surveys, and conducting profiling based on your characteristics and preferences. You can opt out of marketing communications by following the unsubscribe instructions or changing your notification settings.
Other Purposes
We may also process your information when you consent, when it's necessary to protect vital interests, when it's necessary for a public interest task, or when it's in our legitimate interests. Legitimate interests include keeping our records up to date, providing Services, maintaining and administering Services, performing business analyses, preventing fraud, communicating with you, and participating in litigation or investigations. We will not unfairly place our interests above yours.
How We Share Your Information
We share your Personal Information under confidentiality agreements, or obtain data from third parties, in these ways:
- Brands: When you give information to one happypuddle brand, we may share it with our other brands.
- By You: You may disclose information when you post content to our website, third-party sites, or public forums. Anything you post becomes public.
- Third-Party Service Providers: We share information with providers who help us with hosting, promotions, payments, website features, communications, and surveys. They are only authorized to use your information as needed to perform their services. Some providers, like PayPal, have their own privacy policies — please review them.
- Third Parties: We may share information when we team up with another company to offer products, services, contests, or promotions.
- Social Sharing: If you connect your account to social media, you authorize us to share information with that provider, and their privacy policy applies.
- Legal Requirements: We may share information to comply with laws, respond to legal requests, or protect the rights, property, and safety of happypuddle and others.
- Business Transfer: If happypuddle or one of our businesses is sold or merged, customer information may be among the transferred assets.
- Other Disclosures: We may share information with legal, regulatory, audit, and other professional advisors, or as described at collection or with your consent.
These third parties do not have an independent right to share your Personal Information. We take reasonable steps to ensure they respect your information and comply with applicable data protection laws.
How We Keep Your Information
We store your Personal Information as long as needed to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, for our legitimate interests, or to comply with the law. We may delete information at our discretion, so please keep your own records. When there is no longer a user, legal, or business need to hold your information, we will delete it securely or irreversibly anonymize it. Deleted information is removed from our active databases but may remain in our archives.
How We Protect Your Personal Information
We use appropriate physical, technical, and operational measures to protect your Personal Information from unauthorized access, unlawful use, accidental loss, corruption, or destruction. We limit access to staff and service providers who need it for specific purposes, and use measures like password protection. However, messages sent over the internet may not be secure. We recommend not sending confidential information by email — if you do, you accept the risk of interception.
We use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to protect your online order and Personal Information. Data between your computer and our servers is SSL encrypted and stored on a computer not connected to the web. To confirm you're on a secure server, check for an unbroken key or closed lock in your browser window. Some browsers and firewalls don't allow secure connections — in that case, you won't be able to connect, so you won't accidentally place an order through an unsecured connection.
Location of Your Personal Information / Your Consent
By using our Services, you give us voluntary, informed consent for the following:
International Transfer and Disclosure: happypuddle is located in the United States, where data privacy laws may be less stringent than in the EU and other jurisdictions. We store and process your information in the U.S. Our e-commerce store is hosted on Inc., a Canadian company, so your data may be transmitted outside your country, state, or province.
You agree that happypuddle and those we share your information with may disclose, transfer, process, and store your Personal Information outside your country of origin, to our affiliates, sponsors, partners, and service providers, for the purposes described in this Policy.
Some recipients may be in countries without EU-equivalent data protection. If you submit Personal Information or use our Services, you consent to this transfer and storage, subject to applicable laws, which may include access by law enforcement and government entities. If we transfer Personal Information outside the U.S., we will protect it using legally recognized safeguards, such as transferring to a country with adequate privacy laws, putting a contract in place with the recipient, or transferring to organizations in the Privacy Shield framework.
Security Breach Notice:We take reasonable measures to protect your Personal Information, but data security can never be guaranteed. If we or a recipient need to notify you of unauthorized access or another security breach, you agree we may do so by posting a notice on our website or emailing you. You agree to pass this notice on to anyone you're acting for.
Your Opt-Out Choices
We work with third parties like Google and Facebook to manage advertising on other websites. Our advertising partners may use cookies or similar technologies to show you ads based on your browsing activity. To learn more about targeted advertising, visit the Network Advertising Initiative's educational page. You can opt out of some online behavioral advertising by clicking here or adjusting your browser settings. EU residents can click here to opt out.
If you don't want happypuddle to send you email or postal mail, you can choose not to provide your Personal Information, though it may be needed for a purchase or certain features. You can also manage, update, and correct your information by logging into your account and clicking "Settings." If you choose not to give certain information, you can still use many parts of our website, but you won't be able to access areas requiring registration.
If you previously opted in to marketing emails, you can update your preferences using the link in those emails at any time. To stop receiving marketing emails, click the "unsubscribe" link at the bottom of any email. If you opt out, we may still send you other messages, such as purchase receipts, shipping information, or account emails.
Your Rights Over Your Personal Information
EU Privacy Rights
If you are an EU resident, you have the right to review, verify, correct, and request erasure of your Personal Information under certain circumstances. You also have the right to limit, restrict, or object to processing, and to request transfer of your information to another party as provided by applicable data privacy laws.
To make a request, contact us at support@happypuddle.com or write to NANYUAN TECHNOLOGY INC, ATTN: Data Protection, 25 FIRST AVE SW STE A WATERTOWN, SD 57201. Your South Dakota Privacy Rights
This section applies to individuals or households in South Dakota ("South Dakota consumers").
Civil Code Section 1798.83: Under certain circumstances, South Dakota Civil Code Section 1798.83 allows a South Dakota consumer to request details about how a business has shared their Personal Information with third parties for direct marketing. However, this does not apply to businesses like ours that do not disclose Personal Information to third parties for direct marketing without prior approval or a free opt-out mechanism.
Rights under the CCPA: After January 1, 2025, the CCPA (South Dakota Civil Code Section 1798.100 et seq.) gives South Dakota consumers additional rights regarding Personal Information that identifies, relates to, describes, or could be linked to a particular consumer or household. The categories we collect are described above but differ by consumer depending on the Services used.
Under the CCPA, qualifying South Dakota consumers may have:

- Right for Disclosure of Information: You can request that we disclose specific types or categories of Personal Information we collect. In some cases, we will not provide this information — for example, if disclosure creates a substantial, articulable, and unreasonable security risk, or if it involves social security numbers, driver's license numbers, government IDs, financial account numbers, health or medical ID numbers, or account passwords and security questions.
Submitting Requests: If you are a South Dakota consumer and want to make a CCPA request, write to:

Do not provide social security numbers, driver's license numbers, account numbers, credit or debit card numbers, or medical information with requests. If requests are unclear or submitted through other means, we will provide specific directions. If we cannot verify your identity, we may deny the request.
